What's a good acrylic baffle width?

I'm doing a DIY sump with acrylic baffles and will be ordering the acrylic already cut online. Can someone tell me what thickness is good for baffles, thick enought to prevent bending and breaking off of silicone sealing? Is 1/8" thick enough or do I have to go thicker?

I like the .220" stuff, very rigid. The .120" and .080" stuff is just really flimsy. If you go to your local menards they have a selection of various thickness and grade acrylics to give you a better in person picture of what you would like best.

+1 on fishbeards comment ... Just make sure it's cell cast acrylic ... Anything I read on acrylic stresses that...
