What is that weird slit and bump on the side of my rabbit fish. Acting normal and eating.

Do you have any tangs in the tank? Mine had the same thing. Pretty sure he got it when my kole tang beat him down when I first introduced him. Cleared up in about a week or so

Yup. A tang can either slice very fine line with its sharp surgeon blade. Or puncture the skin. What the rabbit has is the puncture.

Confirmed on wetwebmedia bellow. The owner even has had them on his hands.

Yup I have an Asshole Yellow eye Kole and a blue tang. I would bet its the yellow eye. The yellow eye isn't even that big compared to him. Rabbit has to be one of my biggest fish in the tank.

Yep same situation my kole was atleast 1" shorter than my rabbit but he was the dominant one in the tank. Hes still the king of my tank even with the rabbit, sailfin, orange shoulder, and blonde naso all being bigger than him. Even crossed my mind getting a clown tang or sohal to beat him down
