whats wrong with my bluespot :(

about a week ago i noticed a wound above his lip, i thought he got into a fight or something with my diamond goby and it would go away. He eats normal and acts normal, no labored breathing or discoloration on his body just this sore on his upper lip that now has bumps to it. Im confused, all the other fish look fine.

I think that happens cuz he burrows in the sand.

It is very likely for similar fish from the same family to fight. How large is your tank? Is that crushed coral I see? Not the best thing for burrowing fish.

42 gallons, not crushed its carribsea special grade reef sand 1.0mm-2.0mm which is suppose to be perfect for jawfish.

I wouldn't keep 2 similar species in a tank that small.
