Which Float Switch?

I would get the dual bracket. That way you know if your reservoir or your sump is low on water, that way it won't burn out your pump.

The dual bracket is how the JBJ ATO works, which has been solid for me.

Awesome thx Ben - I may just been shooting you a message to make sure I splice/hook it up properly - $15 savings is appreciated :)

Next question... Since most switches are secured via suction cup, and thoughts on the best way to secure the switch to a round container? (gallon jug/5gal bucket/etc)

Just for reference you won't "burn up" an aqualifter since its just a modified air pump designed to run dry, the rubber diaphragms inside do the actual work to pump the water. It's just really annoying to hear the pump gurgling in an empty container.

These float switches are attached by a hook over the top of whatever you're hanging them from.

I noticed that. Hmm... Maybe I'll rig a hook to hang into the bucket that the float switch can hang on too. If i use the second switch to alert when the top-off is low, I'll need to switch at the bottom of the container.

Technically, you can splice in the switches, so any two float switches you get can work. Part of what you're getting from me has the cables to splice in any float switches.

That's the same thing, just cheaper!

I was just about to order these when i realized i think its JUST the brackets I dont need the floaties at the end of the brackets like you can see in the BRS Kit - just want to make sure it has everything i need as the seller basically seems to be an independent acrylic maker.
