I am curious on what everyone's most expensive fish is. So... Chime in and share a picture.
Here is mine. Purchased today after three weeks being at ShoTank and ogling over the fish. I was in love with the fish the first time I saw it.....but at $150 I was not sure I wanted to make that kind of jump on a fish. This morning I was up there looking at a small copperband butterfly that I have had on hold. The CBB is still a little questionable, not eating and wanting to get out.....so I decided to leave it for another week. Of course, Matt had no issue. Then I saw this fish...again. It has to have been there in the store for three weeks. The color...the temperament was incredible.
So I made the jump and purchased him for my 125 corner bow. I did not QT the fish..... I hope I am not sorry. But...the QT has an overgrown long spine urchin in it and does not have the macro algae it it anymore. So....I decided since Matt treats the fish his tanks.....and it was eating really well....I would put him straight into the tank after acclimation. Wish me luck. So far so good....though the fish is really shy.
Here is a picture during acclimation. Sorry it is a crappy iPhone picture. Golden Dwarf Angel.
