Starting a new build trend for my 90 gallon mega system

It all started in my ten gallon tank three years ago.... then I converted it into a sump / refugium for my twenty gallon setup I started last october of 2012........ after the twenty gallon filled I decided to go big in the new spot because I had the space for it in my basement / mancave. I built a 8 foot stand for the ninety gallon tank / mega system.........This new mega system was setup October of 2013 and is doing very well and someday hope to upgrade to an 8 foot long tank to fit the stand and space...

I went with the auto dimable coral compulsion 1200 series for lighting it really is something it simulates sunrise and sunset. For now I have my low light corals on the right side of the tank because I have three one watt led strips there until i buy another coral compulsion light.

Also have a ro/di unit conected to the mega system {new addition} for auto top off

This mega system consists of my 90 gal display, 40 gal sump / refugium , and also , small 10 gal display refugium

This is the preview to my build thread going to add more such as livestock and corals next..

Great looking tank so far, that kenya tree is huge. Also is your ro/di unit attached right to your sump?

For now im trying to get my cal and alk right on and bringing salt up to .25 so i turned off the ro/di unit for now. Then I will purchase an auto top off to pump in the fresh water from a reservoir.

Cool :) I didn't want to tell you what to do as im doing it myself, but almost all people say hooking up your ro unit right to your sump is a bad idea if the float ever sticks, could have a mess on your hands. Was going to say just keep an eye on it.

These are the other pallys i'm growing out (Darth Mauls )

This is the beast my ccstarfish he lives in the refugium lol

Went away for a couple days and came home to a beautiful looking display. added another clown fish and now looks like a pair, mine matured into a female then i added a younger male so he knows his roll. also added a lawnmower blenny to take care of algae on the rocks. Also i purchased a peppermint shrimp already hosting eggs and its happy in the ten gallon refugium expecting shrimp baby's soon:cold:
