There are some hair algae in my tank. Is sea hare the best to get rid the hair algae?

They never eat coral..Reef safe for sure...I have many

yea snails dont die after the algea is gone. they eat something else. hares' die. test your water for nitrates and phosphate and either do more water changes or start carbon dosing.

If you have a lot the Best is a lettuce nudi but they will starve after all the hair algae is gone.

Hair algae is best tackled with multiple species.

Thx for everyone's help. I got some(7) mex turbo snail.

Good call with the turbos Yugotreef2 (and Mai). Those worked the best for me too. I occasionally wish the turbos (especially the huge ones) wouldn't climb on my coral but they're pretty cool all around.
