Apex locked up?

Luckily I was working from home this morning but I was on a call when I noticed my blue channel wasn't on when it should be. I tried connecting to my apex with my app and it didn't allow me to.

I ended up restarting my apex and it all came on. When I did that I noticed my temp had fallen to 77.3 degrees. I have my apex setup to maintain 78.5-79.

Looks like it locked up around 7am.

Has anyone had there apex lock up before?

Is a 1.7 degree swing in 3 hours ok?

yea man ull be fine 1 degree is nothing and as for the apex i dont own1 but i think joe had the same problem but he was in canada when it happend

U need to set your heater controls to default on and not off. That's where I made my error. Apex crashed and heaters defaulted off

+1, set your heaters own temp to a degree above what your Apex controls it at that way if your Apex fails they will maintain the heat.

The apex has now locked up 4 times.

I don't know if this makes sense but my router keeps losing communication with the apex. When I restart the router it communicates with the apex and the apex starts working again.

I'm confused on why this is happening

Yup. Something happened over the weekend (maybe daylight savings time) that caused issues with the var speeds for some people including myself. Just go to the configurations, under network setup, check reboot then update. Should go back to normal

When I do a reboot it will work for a couple hours then lock up again.

The apex is hard wired into my router.

I've got my wp's and a heater plugged into a power strip right now to keep it safe.

Have a meeting at 10 then going back home to try and do a firmware update.

I'm thinking the snow storm caused a power surge and might have corrupted a file.

Tried doing an update to the firmware this morning from my tablet but it timed out. Read online the computer you are using should be hard wired so grabbing my laptop when I leave work
