Problem with ro di

Having an issue with my brs ro di unit. It recently just started dripping my ro water into my top off container instead of a steady flow and the waste water is flowing out fast. I just changed my di resin as the color change went totally to brown. Hooked it back up the same way abd now it's barely dripping at all. Any suggestions?

There should be a lil blue switch on the top of the ro unit. Try turning it(i believe towards you) to unrestrict the flow.

I've don't it switched both ways and the same result happens-no water. Didn't change out the sediment filter, could that be causing a very slow flow if it was dirty?

It doesn't have a gauge. Don't know what would be the difference. It's been running fine for about three years

Sounds like something is restricting the flow...when you put the new resin in, is there any plastic, etc covering the cartridge opening, or any obstructions in the tubings from the cartridges?

Only thing I can think of would be in the di resin canister. There's a small sponge I have at the bottom where it screws on. There is a solid filter top piece that's about three inches long that I believe should be at the top of the resin canister. This is the only thing I can think of that could be causing this. Do I have this installed incorrectly?

I believe so.....been awhile. Believe I bought them from premium aquatics. Been working fine except for recently

I would try a pre filter also check when you also replaced carbon or what ever other filters you have in your set up ???

Changed out the sediment filter Had to go with a ten micron since the store didnt have a five micron. It's dripping now since I rinsed off the carbon blocks. Ordered all new filters for it. Hopefully that should solve the issue

Well I took the unit apart. I think I had it connected improperly. Must have been that way for about a year..who knows. Anyways I reconnected everything and also connected it up to be 150 gpd again. Now I have a steady stream. :ridic
