Twin 54 Gallon Reef tanks

So here I am... A year or so later and I've managed to obtain and purchase Everything (OK almost everything) to set up one of my (2) 54 G corner reef tanks. (I couldn't stand having only Fish and Live Rock).

I'm using a Coralife Super Skimmer 125 in a DIY 20g Berlin Style sump

165w LED Fixture Off Brand :hoarse:
(There is actually room for 2 of the LED fixtures on one tank)

40 lbs of Pukani Rock
(I built the structure earlier this year and it's been sitting in a 40 Gallon utility box curing for about 6 months now)

Tunze ATO system

DIY Kalk dripper

(2) MaxiJet 600's

Marineland 3000 utility pump for the return

And the heaters I had purchased ended up on other tanks due to heater failures... I'm still undecided on which heaters I want to place in this system. I was considering (2) 100 watt Jager Heaters (1 in the sump and one in the DT overflow compartment...

I've almost completed the tank cabinet construction for the first tank... Now I have to sheath it in cabinet grade plywood and stain/varnish it. I'll have to do this in the room it'll be set up in because it won't fit through doorways after it has been completed. The hardest part about bowfront tanks is where the heck do you put all of the equipment in the cabinet???

One comment if thats the stand skeleton . It dont look easy to access and remove stuff if needed. Ive found it gets aggravating when sump is in jail just somethibg to tgink about if u already havent

I did consider that. It would be a pain in the @#$ but it'll be possible to remove the sump through the front cabinet door... Also the rear panels on the cabinet will be panel board with foam to deaden the noise levels. Those panels will allow access if the whole tank was down. I knew I should have went with the 90g bowfronts :sparta-lol:

I've been considering having an electrician route the outlet wiring to a new breaker in my breaker box. The location where the outlets are located are also on the same breaker as the out door outlet. During the holidays my house tends to look like Clark Griswold decorated it :teevee:

So my plan is to have (2) outlets at each 54g tank location as well as (2) outlets in the basement for my frag tank set up I'm building... (eventually)

All of these locations will be on the same breaker. My questions are (and this is for any electricians on the forum)

What size breaker would I need? Roughly 1400 watts for the DT's on the first floor and maybe 600 watts for the Frag tank.

Approximately, How much would it cost to establish a new breaker and place these outlets (which are in different areas) on said breaker?

Stocking Options

I've been creating a list... Scrapping the whole thing... Creating a new one... Researching... and I'm still undecided on some aspects.

One thing I'm considering is Banggai Cardinals. That being said, I'd like to have a nice school of them. How many would be an appropriate amount in your opinion?

I'm thinking of getting 3 Captive bred BG Cards and seeing if 2 end up pairing during quarantine. If they do then I would only introduce the paired BG cards into the Display Tank.
