Hi I have an apex lite that is killing me to get set up. I have no idea how to set it up. I have nothing started at all. I want to be able to use fusion and any help would be appreciated!

I was in the same boat as you when I got mine man. Neptune has its own forum, go on their website, create an account, and start reading. I guarantee if you are having an issue with something, someone else has and all the answers you need will be there. Im not great with all that programing crap but I was able to do it all myself. Shoot me a PM if somethings giving you a hard time.

My apex intimidated me at first, it seemed overwhelming. The quick setup guide was great and I was able to get through it step by step. Easy things first, like pump controls, and the I graduated to heater functions and vortech plots. Pm me as well if you have a question. You'll love it very soon.

I just hooked up mine 2 days ago, just look at the pdf getting started and go step by step, had no issues. Once you start trying to add more complicated actions I would suggest using the forums and asking the community for help. Seems there are a lot of people there that know what they are doing.

I have an APEX and hope the fusion will make it worth the cost.

Given a day Job and Other Commitments, spending time with my aquarium controller is like going to church with my mother in law...

After two crashes on a 2000 gal system I bought a spare...I'm sure something more reliable and easier to program will show up;)

Does anyone know if the apex can be programmed wirelessly?

Yes use a wifi game controller or computer wireless adapter.

It works and given the apex design you might have some issues.

I have a long Ethernet cord for updates and programming then use the adapter for day to day monitoring.

Yeah I bought a long ethernet cord to set it up but my modem is in a room where I have a really large green wing macaw and if you aren't moving he Flys on you. Let's just say he's to big to get his nails trimmed lol. I was wondering if it could be set up with the wireless adapter?

Set it up hard wired then use the wireless adapter.

I've done it both ways after several crashes and wired is much smoother without that occasional lock up or glitch.
