How do you store your equipment?

Right now I'm using a small coat closet to store my stuff but it is very cramped. It is also very hard to work with and gets disorganized quickly because of how much crap I have in there. I have a 2nd bedroom I can store stuff in but I want to make it look nice. What do you guys use to store your stuff? Any ideas for a nice rack or cabinet for a storing equipment in a guest bedroom?
 
If it isn't a daily use item, I store all my stuff in a huge rubbermaid tote in my basement. The daily use items sit under my tank.
 
I have three bed rooms and its just me and wife one room is a war zone with fish crap . Honestly u probably cant open one closet or drawer without finding something fish related . Dam hobby

Sounds like my closet now. It could be a nice coat closest but there are buckets stacked to the ceiling and other crap making the doors hard to shut. I have an extra bedroom but I need to keep it presentable for guests and family that will be staying at my place.

The day you sell that type of stuff is the day you need it.

I keep the essential stuff under my tank and I keep the less essential stuff in a closet in the room next to my tank. In that closet, I have a desk so I can work on stuff on it. I store two totes full of random crap under that desk. Next to the desk, I keep all of my boxes of salt and spare buckets. If we ever have kids, I'll surely lose my fish closet.

I like the idea of a desk. It would be really nice for making frags

It's funny, I actually do most of my fragging and other tank work on top of my step ladder I use for my tank. The top of my tank is nearly six feet off of the ground, so every time I want to do something in the tank, out comes the ladder. It also doubles as a work surface. It has one of those flip-down paint bucket holders. I'm thinking about screwing some plywood to it so its a more solid surface.

I use the desk for equipment work, plumbing, and just to keep my stuff organized (and it usually is not).

Sounds exactly like mine .. i keep a table in the walking closet and everything pretty much goes under that table ..

now with the new baby.. baby stuff is over crowding fish stuff :)
 
I store my equipment all over my house... front yard, backyard, closet, living room.. LOL jk. I cleaned it up and now I have a personal shed outside just for all the equipment that I hoard..
