Hey guys so I went to go get my water tested from my LFS well two places and apparently my water is good to go which I find hard to believe after only 5 days.. Either way I'm still going to wait another week or so. But what to put in tank first fish or cleaning crew

I don't have anything in there except the LR and sand

U can't really tell if tank cycled unless you have source of ammonia (decaying shrimp, fish food, fish poop, ammonia).
You need to make sure ammonia gets turned into nitrate.

I've always just placed uncooked shrimp on rocks, chop it up and place in various spots in tank/rocks. Let it decay and nitrifying bacteria count will increase to fully cycle your tank.
You should get yourself cheap test kits to measure ammonia and Nitrite (API ammonia and nitrite kits will do fine). Once they stay at zero all the time, even with the shrimp in your tank, means your tank is really ready for fishes.

ok thanks for the tip going to get some today.

Although the damsels are VERY hardy, they tend to get super aggressive amongst each other and when you introduce new fish. I would recommend adding a pair of green chromes. They don't tend to be aggressive against other fish and are also hardy.

Good luck!
