Cant believe it's been a long time since I last updated my thread. Well theres been lots of changes to my tank and I will start with the biggest change.. Over the summer I had to replace both my ballast for my Giesemann Spectra, after replacing them one went out after a few weeks....guess I was the lucky winner of a lemon. I bought them from Coral Vue so I wasn't concern because they replaced it asap. This actually turned me off and was planning on switching to full blown LEDs. I spoke to a few friends and got a few recommendations after that I reached out to some vendors and couldn't believe what some of these vendor were asking. This was also about the time I had also put the fixture up for sale. Well that didn't go well either because the offers that were coming were a complete joke
At this point I gave up on selling my fixture and buying an LEDs fixture. After going back and forth, my buddy jayjigga convinced me to turn the Giesemann Spectra into a dimmable fixture. Well we did and now my Giesemann is T5 dimmable. I'm glad I kept the fixture and did this simple modification.

! And yes new changes coming soon.
