Reef Breeders and t5s

Ok guys I need some help in have 2x 24 inch reefbreeders and I wanna add t5s to my 105 as well. Does anyone one here have any recommendations that could help me out or even help me build a set up, I am looking to put a hanging canopy over the tank any help would be grate thanks guys

The tank is 48x24x20 yes I wanna do a floating canopy sorry I have not figure anything out yet looking in to it right now

I was looking at them to but they are a little bit to expensive seeing I need to at four foot

Yeah that's how many I'll need for my upgrade also. You might be able to buy the t5 hydroponics lights. Maybe even get a bigger fixture like 6 or 8 bulb and retro fit your leds into it so it looks cleaner

It's funny I was looking in to that as well with the 8 bulb lol

Here was one I built for the same size tank. It was 8 T5 retros on Icecap Ballasts. It was wired through the wall and mounted on industrial hinges so it could flip up, the whole effect was that it looked like it was floating, I hate seeing wires. This was back in 08, so LEDs hadn't taken off yet.
