Placement ideas

So I want to use this rock. It's like 4x3 and about 3" tall. I need ideas to fill up the "bowl" area. It's going in the sand and will be like med flow. Softies and LPS.

My first thought was zoas. I've never had acans, they are in my plans but wasn't sure if this would be a good spot. I really can't think of anything else, so was hoping people had some thoughts.

An amazing chalice or favia would look awesome after it encrusts and spills over.

Go with zoas! Since its going on the sand bed, with medium flow, or some shrooms.

Not a rock it’s a coral . Will cover with algae much faster than a rock not a good coral base . I took all those out of my tanks as they just created problems over time .

Looks like a dead coral. Like top water said it may grow algae much faster than other surfaces. Zoas would be cool once over grown, I would stick some sweet chalice on it and let it grown down the rock.

Little less than 2 months in the tank. I'm happy with it

Looks pretty good. Is that a monti mounted to a magnet on the back of the tank?
