I purchased a 120g aquarium stand im trying to get level. It has been a NIGHTMARE! I can’t seem to get it level. I am trying to level it on a concrete steel beam floor with carpet. just when I thought I got it level it wobbles when I push it. Any ideas?

If it wobbles, but is level, then just put some shims under the corner that is wobbling. Is the stand new or used? I'd also make sure that the stand itself is level and that all of the corners are 90 degrees.

Bought it from the orginal owner he built it and I saw the previous tank filled. Idk what to do id hate to have to get a new stand!

Is it filled yet? Carpet isn't the most stable surface to build off of. I had my previous tank on the carpet and hated it. It woobled while empty, within reason, then was stable with and level with 500lbs water and sand. If the stand is truly square and level, you should be in good shape.

If I was forced to put it on the carpet again, I would cut the carpet and trim/baseboard around the stand, since the tank destroyed the carpet and pad anyways.

just my 2 cents.

what tool are you using to level your stand?
torpedo level, 2 foot, 4 foot, laser?
is it any good? just because it is a level doesn't mean its accurate.
just because the bubble is between the lines doesn't make it level. you must have exactly the same distance from the bubble to the line on the left side and the right side.

Hope this helped

I am using a 4 foot metal level. I decided to cut a large peice of plywood and place it underneath the tank. Hopefully this will help to have it level

Level it on concrete. No carpet. The carpet gives which is why it never seems level. Once it's leveled on concrete put it on the carpet and fill the tank. The carpet will give with the weight and it should still be level. If the water isn't level while filling then add shims under the stand to level it
