Hi All,

I have two BTAs in my tank, one I have had over a 18 months, the other I picked up in October. They are on opposite ends of the tank, but similar conditions other than flow. The newer one is bleaching, and I’m not entirely sure why. Any thoughts?

Whole tank, good nem on the right, not so good on the left.

Good nem now.

Bad nem when I got it.

Bad nem now.

I would guess new nem is still acclimating to new conditions (water chemistry, lighting, flow, etc.). Two plus months, you would think would be enough.

Its been almost 3 months (picked it up at the Harvest Frag Fest). It’s really puzzling to me. I have tried feeding it more recently to see if that would help, but not change. Still opens and bubbles everyday, not inflated as much as it was when I first got it.

Maybe it’s fine, and still settling in. It looks like it has a good spot to wedge its’ foot.
