24 hours and no further tissue loss. I'm raising my calc/kh to make up for all the extra sps so I can grow it fast.

Do not dose anything else, until you stabilize your tank! just need to keep the carbon reactor and skimmer going. once you get the calc/alk/mag to proper ratio via water change, you will be fine.
All the precipitated calcium will not hurt your livestock. don't worry about the cloudiness, unless you are still precipitating calcium. it was the high alk that messed up your tank.
what's your alk now?

I actually started to see a slight haze before the salt use! My tank is still cloudy and I think the tissue loss has stopped for now! it looks soo crazy I just dont know how this can go away. I will do another 50% water change on saturday!

Okay, don't worry about the cloudiness. We need to know what your current parameters are now, especially the alkalinity. The precipitated calcium won't hurt your livestock. if your parameters are fine, you won't even need to do the water change yet, or not do such a big water change. Big water changes might even hurt your corals more, because the parameters swing around with big water changes. Only do big water changes in an emergency, which you might be out of it already.

Ok so params is pH is 7.8 so I did one dose of my pH buffer and will check that tomorrow to test if more buffer is needed
Ammonia is .50
nitrite o
nitrate 0
phos looks like its at .5
ca 500
alk 3.4 meq

Ok ammonia is ez. Use some prime since its so high and half a recommended dose of buff to make up for PH drop. Do it during day not at night.
PO4 is a little trickier since you told me you ran so much current through your GFO it's most likely exhausted. You can use phosphate remover chems but those stress coral so I would dose Prime Friday with buff and change water Saturday to remove PO4.
Also if you had just fed fish you will get a false positive on PO4.
It seems like you now are going for a ride on a mini cycle

I would hold off on dosing anything. Just keep on running carbon and your skimmer Adam. I think you are looking good for the most part. Like mentioned do NOT worry about the cloudiness at the moment. Let it settle. It should start going away. If you see it getting worse than worry but I think you will be fine.

Yea Boco I think I am going on a mini cycle from all the die off off bacteria from the slight crash! my GFO was just put in less than a month ago the pump is a MJ900 with TLF 150 reactorwith 2.5-3 in of GFO/ If GFO got in the tank what would that do? Im not saying that it did but just wondering?

good to know your tank's doing better. I had that skimmer overflowing thing happen to me a couple times. Made me so mad coz all that nasty stuff overflowed from the skimmer and back into my sump water.
