Hi and thanks everyone! Its good to see a local forum to exchange info and ideas. In this hobby, you learn something new everyday.

Our facebook page has lots of updates, but I will keep everyone posted on here as well.

Anyone who mentions chicagoreefs.com will be rewarded with an additional 10% on livestock and drygoods. I will throw in a free frag or 3.5oz of mysis if you stop in this week.

Pufferpunk.. Where to start...

We have a small, some would say tiny shop, 500 Pennsylvania Ave, Glen Ellyn 60137, 630-935-1363. We are in the process of moving to Elmhurst, a few towns east. We will keep this location, but it will be for our coral propagation and fish quarantine. Our current location is hidden and some people would never know it was there, perhaps our biggest drawback. We do have a signicade we put out, but the elmhurst location will be an actual front.

We strive to carry the most desirable corals and fish. Aussie corals are extremely popular due to their hot colors, but the 'bread and butter' stuff like zoas and euphyllias are top-sellers as well. Frags are still popular, but seem prefer larger pieces if the prices is right. We have some very sought after skittles and other rainbow and ultra grade acans on hand, dozens of clams, maximas, deresas, more coming wednesday. Fish we currently carry are mostly tangs, basslets, clownfish, gobies, wrasses, cardinalfish, and angelfish. These seem to be the most popular and are well suited to aquarium life. Once we expand, we will have more exotic stuff on hand more consistently. We carry a bunch of drygoods, slowly starting to build our lighting stock, still doing lots of halides on customers tanks, with Evolution and Ecoxotic LEDs being very popular as well.

We appreciate any feedback and recommendations!
