    From Chicago to Vegas

The new tank is looking great, nice anemone :) That would be awesome if someone still had your stuff! I've always wanted to check in on some of fish or old setups I've given away to see how they've done. Hopefully someone responds

    Hi

The tanks looking good! I like the torch up front it looks really happy.

    120G on second floor

I'd be a little hesitant even though its on the exterior wall and on perpendicular joists. A 120 is 1000+ lbs and being on a second floor is always a little bit more precarious. I would call somebody to check it for the peace of mind

    Hi

I love the euphyllia -- fantastic tank!

    Need to vent

Wow. At the price point, I would have expected the quality to be a lot better.

Not sure if this is real, but if it is, someone should jump on this

It sounds like all the reefers in Chicago responded (me included)! However, I agree that it sounds a little bit too good to be true.

    Breakthroughs in fish breeding

Add clown triggers to that list. I'm hoping that wrasse and anthias are next. They have had success with Borbonious anthias, so I'm sure that they can apply that to Lyretail, Bartletts, etc.

    aKay09's 29 Gallon Reef

I don't have a thread for my 29 gallon, but I am in the process of starting a 75-gallon build, so I think I may create a build thread on Reef2Reef or here!

    Whats your tap water TDS?

My tap is about 120 ppm TDS, so my RODI filters have a decently long life!

    aKay09's 29 Gallon Reef

Nice! I also have a 29 Gallon nano. Do you like the depth/height ratio? Sometimes I wish I had gone with a 40 breeder instead.

    Filter Socks

During the summer, I use a high-pressure spigot on the hose to clean them, and it works wonderfully.

Whats everyone using as a CUC?

Nassarius snails look cool and are great for the sand. However, my favorite is trochus. I also have hermit crabs, but they always seem more interested in attacking each other than scavenging.
