It could be, look from the top to see if the affected area is visible. IMO a 3 month old tank is a little early for SPS but not impossible. I look to keep temp, salinity, ph, alk, cal, mag, nitrate, and phosphate as stable say possible. SPS=stability promotes success.

Got home from work yesterday evening and found something made a tiny frag of my RR Angry Birds.:mad: Thankfully I found it and it's doing fine after being half buried in the sand all day.

Those are fine. Is that side shaded from the light and what type of lights? How old is the tank and the frags?

What are your numbers? Did you make any changes to the tank and/or maintenance schedule? Was is overnight or was it a gradual decline of the corals?

Today I was able to swap my 2 G3 XR15s for 2 G4 XR30's. The 15's will be going on the new frag/grow out tank along with T5 bulbs to try and match spectrum of the main tank.

I had one years ago, started off great but soon nothing but problems. It would kill off CUC one by one but not eat them, and flip corals daily.

I just use chaeto in my 120. My fuge is 13"x18" and 10"deep FULL of it and I stay around 0.03-0.05. I have an auto feeder go off 3 times a day with pellets and I feed 1 cube of mysis and flake and 1/2 a sheet of nori a day. Not sure how much room you have for ur fuge and how much effect it...

I was having the same problem when I first set my tank up. I ended up putting a union on the drain pipes to extend it down under the water line in the sump. Only problem is that you have to kill the return pump to change them but I just do it when I'm feeding the corals twice a week.

I've have only been to the Shed but have heard the Georgia Aquarium is amazing.

+1 on DD but in my dream a maintenance team comes with the tank.

Have you checked phosphates? Never easy finding out what's wrong when other corals are doing fine...I have dippin dots if u want to replace it.
