How about simple outlet timers. They are cheap and can be used for many things. I have ones controlling my dosers, T5 lights, and fuge light. Also my American DJ 8 channel power strip. I have 3 built into the sides of my stand. Easy on/off with a flip of a switch. Best part is water...

I would not worry about the old sand and just go new. 3+ years, who knows what could be in it. With a temp tank you should be fine. Just try to keep temp and salinity consistent. Good luck

I'd go gloss and match everything. Your fender flares are gloss, wheels look gloss, truck paint is gloss. If you mix and match it looks tacky and not thought through, IMO. Nice truck by the way

Once a week I'll rinse out old socks, then soak in bleach for 48 hrs. Rinse again with RODI and drip dry. If they still smell, give a second rinse. They usually last over a year for me
