29g biocube (my first tank ever )

I always wanted to do saltwater reef, finally the time was right !
I started this about a month ago I have about 29lbs lr and 20lbs live sand, got 2clowns firefish damsel and cleaner shrimp. Also got 3 snails and 3 hermits . Some o the rock came with red mushrooms that I didn't notice till they just opened up out of no where lol also some small zoas!

Coming along well! Any further plans? Mods?

Can't go wrong with a biocube to start. Problem is the reef bug will bite and you'll want to go bigger in no time.

Thanks fellas ! The plan is to fill it up with nice corals and one day expand to a bigger one.
Thinking about getting a skimmer and upgrading my pump . But like I said I'm new to all of this and gonna try to be patient lol
 
I had alot success putting a bag of chemipure elite in the third chamber and turning the middle into one giant fuge. I bough the fuge light from JBJ and was very successful

Cobalt MJ1200 pump and Tunze 9002 skimmer are the perfect BC29 upgrades.

I'm using the chemi pure regular will upgrade to elite soon, as for the fuge
I want to read more about it to understand it.

Looks good! Best of luck with it. Are you using all the stock filtration, or have you done any mods?

As of right now I'm using the stock set up but I'm removing the bio balls little at a time , I was told its not needed in there . Any tips would help cuz I'm still learning as I go on
