93 cube drain issue

I set my 93 up on Monday. I'm using a jebao dc3000 split between my 30 and 93. The ball valve on the 30 is barely open. The 93 overflow water level will go up and down. Once it goes up a big air bubble comes through the drain to the sump and the level goes back down. Not sure what's happening or how to fix it. I plan on pumping alot more water through this tank so I hope it's not pushing it's ability already

I may have to do the over the back herbie but I prefer not to since it will be very hard to get behind the stand to run the plumbing and I'd never be able to see if it was leaking. I'd have to shut both tanks down and move the stand away from the wall. Any other ways of getting around the gurgle lol

Mine won't even move. I've pushed and pulled and nothing. Because I read if you drill that vent a little bigger it stops but like I said it wouldn't even move. Maybe drilling another vent?

Yeah I know the benefits of the herbie and was going to get the tank drilled and just forgot about it. I was going to have the 30 and 93 drilled for herbie but unfortunately too late now
