It's this weekend! Just passing it along if anyone is interested :D

Michigan Coral Expo and Swap!
Michigan Coral Expo & SwapThe Michigan Coral Expo and Swap (MCES) is the largest reef hobby event in Michigan! MCES is again co-hosted by Mid-Michigan Marine Club (MMMC) and Grand Rapids Marine Aquarium Society (GRMAS). This year MCES will be on Sunday, February 22, 2015.

Attendance last year exceeded 700 hobbyists from across the midwest. There were 50 vendors with tanks full of outstanding corals, fish, and dry goods for sale. Each year has been larger than the last! MCES will be in the spacious Grand Ballroom of the Best Western Hotel located at 6820 S. Cedar Street, Lansing, Michigan 48911.

In addition to vendors from across the country, MCES will feature an outstanding livestock and dry goods raffle. It will also include a mini-conference that will occur prior to and during the expo.

Best Western Conference Center Lansing, Michigan – Feb 22, 2015
Special room rates have been negotiated for our event. The price is $119.00 per night for attendees of our expo. Bring the family into town and make a weekend of it…plenty of fun things to do as if the largest frag swap in Michigan isn’t enough! Onsite amenities include a pool, arcade, weight room, bar, and restaurant.

Here is the hotel website, be sure to mention our event, to get the special rate.

MCES attendees will enjoy the large lobby areas outside of the vendor hall which will assure you are warm rather than standing outside at our former location.

Looks like about a 4 hour drive from downtown Chicago to downtown Lansing via 90 and 69 (to avoid all the snow problem in I-94) Roads in MI around the lake were horrible earlier this week from snow.
