A buddy's car was stolen please keep your eyes open for it

It could be anywhere in the Chicagoland area but was stolen from the south side it's a Honda s2000 call the police if you see it.

I can guarantee those wheels aren't on it anymore. Worked at a Discount Tire for 5 years, and I promise you car thieves have their rides changed up withing 6 hours of pickup.
 
Yeah it is true. They'll try n part it out immediately. This is the second s2000 the night before yesterday one of my other buddy's s2000 got stolen also but they found it like 4 blocks away I guess it shut down and they couldn't get it started its unbelievable how they do it to start them without that cars key. Someone was explaining it on a local import forum.

Honda S2000 won't get parted out. It's too rare these days. It'll get recoded and sent to either coast. It could be parted for the engine, but only if it was heavily modded.
 
It was a heavily modded engine :-( i hadnt seen what was put into it because he had only gotten it back from the shop last night and got stolen about 2-4am

Idk what shop but this happened after a cruise/BBQ at a speed shop called topspeed. Both s2000 that where stolen in the past 2 days where at this event, and previous events this past week. Always both cars parked together, topspeed is in a bad area of Chicago(close to), we think they've been scoping out the car for a while because it's not the first time it happens there's been a few evos, sti, and Hondas disappearing after these meets

The car was found cut up into 40+ pieces all aftermarket parts where already gone(sold) and stuff like the interior was to the side ready to sell. The body and all metal was cut up or being cut up ready to be taken to get scrapped. Sad day today. The two guys that stole it where caught along with a few other chopped up cars they had in the same garage.

Yes he was but the thing is that it won't cover the extra like 4-6 grand he invested in aftermarket stuff
