Introducing a fish from S.G. 1.O19 TO 1.024.
Is this safe ? How should I go about acclimating ?
Thx for any help !

Technically you should probably start at the .019 and top off daily with something like .024 until you are always at .024. That being said I have had clowns that were raised in .019 and just put them in .024 water with the thought of sink or swim which I will never do again because I felt horrible and worried constantly.

I just did the same excact thing yesterday. All I did was take it very slow. I acclimated them in about 8 hours but they seem to be doing great.

Just dip over and he or 2 n you'll be fine. If fish is healthy the salinity change won't be too harsh on them

i do 50% water changes every five minutes till the SG matches the display, doing this way for 10yrs and never lost a fish.

I use the slow drip method till water in container with new fish/ coral doubles in volume then I dump out 3/4 of that water then I re drip till I get double the volume again and thats it. This process usually takes about an hr....I use this method for inverts as well....works for me
