Achilles tang

Hello peeps.. I'm thinking about getting an achilles. Do you guys think it will get along with my powder brown and my purple tang? I have a 210g fish only but also have sailfin, hippo, blonde naso, and various angels. I know I'm pushing it with the tangs just wondering if anyone has mixed them. Thanks in advance for advice.
 
Yup Ted's right, your probably looking for a war in there.
I have a PBT and a achilles together, but their in a 450 gallon tank, and I thought there was going to be trouble in the beginning.
The PBT has been in there for a couple years, but when the Achilles went in all the rockwork was moved around so they weren't so territorial and I kept the lights off for a week.
Plus my achilles is alot larger than the PBT so he sometimes enlarges himself (fins)to show who's boss. Just kind of sizes him up.
 
I tried that and it did not end well,i had to pull the Powder brown out.What you can try is to catch the PB and stick him in the sump,buy the achilles(larger than PB) then add them together.That usually confuses the established fish and he won't have an established territory.If i had a choice i'd boot the powder brown.I don't think it's a pretty fish.But just me personal taste.
 
you can also try (if doable), but a partition in the tank (like plexiglass with holes for flow) or eggcrate to keep them seperate. observe them for 2 weeks and if the agression seesm to tone down when they see each other, then pull it out and see how it goes. I think you will have issues though....but if the Achilles is allowed to be in the tank stress free and establish himself on one side, it might be ok.
