So I am trying to make a sump out of this and want to add a baffle for the skimmer area. Looking for a 8" x 12" piece. The CR500 is made out of what appears to be around 3/16". Just wondering if I can just silicone it in. And if anyone might have a piece they might sell. Hoping to modify this to work as the sump for my 24 gallon so I can use my custom sump for the 29 gallon build.

Thanks Mai - I thought maybe I was on a "don't talk to" list or something! 
Befor I head into all this would I be able to stop by and show you what I was looking to do and see if you think it will work? I am pretty much clueless when it comes to this and I am sure it is not just a matter of putting in baffles and hoping it works as a sump.
