Adding or remove live sand from your exsisting reef tank.

Hello everyone,
Just wonder if any you have any experience on this?
Will adding new live sand to your reef tank cause any problem to your coral and fish?
I dont really like my new live sandin my tank, i would love to add more or replace the sand to my reef tank,

It has been done. Has to be done slowly over time.

Ive dumped a ne bag in all at once was fine but my tank was very established if u remove like jerk said need to do it slowly over time and u probably will get a mini cycle i awlays keep a bottle of prime on hand if that happens

If you add live sand, out of a bag, to an established tank you should do it slowly. Live sand will probably cause a mini cycle, you could just add well rinsed dry sand to the tank also, cheaper and it will become live once established. Just do it slowly.
