Additives to fresh water mix?

For the most part if you use RODI and a quality salt mix you shouldn't need to add anything but the salt. Many of the commercial salt mixes available also have a dechlorinator already incorporated into them (but adding prime can't hurt unless you using copper in a hospital/QT).

I guess I should have said fresh salt mix...Im almost done with the bottle of Prime I use when mixing my salt and was thinking of stopping from using it just to see if I really need it and yeah i use RODI. Wanted to kno what everyone else adds to the fresh salt mix.

With RODI you don't need prime, if there is any chlorine, chloramine, heavy metals, ammonia, nitrite, etc. in the water coming out of your RODI you have an issue with the filters or your TDS meter.
