Algae on overflow

Guys question.
How do yu keep your overflow algae free..I keep cleaning mine but keeps growing.

Put a opaque cover over it. That's the only way.

Is there any way to remove the pipes and clean it before do that?

If you cover the overflow for a few days then try to remove manually it should come off easily then.

Sure, If you left enough room in your sump to account for the extra water you can remove the pipes and clean the overflow chamber.

If you have shut off valves.

Last one is drain the water out of the chamber

I built a black cover that sits on top of my overflow. It blocks the light so that no algae can grow in their.
