Algae

I've dipped in peroxide. I put the rock in a bucket with water and peroxide. Then rinsed the rock off before putting back in tank

Prob not the best thing to do because it will kill life on the rocks but it made the algae disappear

i've dipped xenia and zoas to kill bryopsis and the algae was completely destroyed while the fauna was perterbed but unaffected. Peroxide will kill the coraline and macro, but should leave the invert untouched.

What's on the rock that you care about vs just pulling it out completely? Would it be safer to just frag the corals off?

just not sure what algae this is, or what might eat it. It looks nice btw, like short feathers of dark green

google caluerpa and bryopsis. Both can get out of control, but caluerpa is not as evil. I have both and have destroyed the caluerpa. if it's bryposis you might want to research Kent Tech M as a remedy.

my lettuce slug was the most voracious herbavore I ever had, but he wen MIA with ons of food still available.

I lost mine as well. Found him in teh sump and then lost him again when I moved him back upstairs. They too easily can get into overflows and everything else.
