Any experience with a copper banded butterfly??

Do any of them do or was this just yours? I know they are a hit or miss with aptasia and it says they are reef safe with caution so what is the caution about? what do they go after usually if they do?

Yea mine didnt touch the aptasias ugh as far as i know feather dusters and coco worms r what they will eat for sure ive know bunch people have em no issues but like every fish its who knows what they do

Hey puffer, what kind of things did you feed your copperband? I stick Rods orange pack, frozen brine with a cube of spirulina... every other day... I also feed pellets but he doesnt seem very interested in these...lastly I throw a sheet of nori in there every few days...

Only thing I've ever seen em eat are live blackworms. I soak them in Selcon & Vita-Chem & gut-load them with old fish flakes & ground plankton.

He completely cleaned out a tank covered in "aptasia". Still not 100% sure that's what the pest was. They were tiny--maybe hydroids? I thought I was gonna have to tear down the tank, between that & all the algae. I just redid the tank after cooking all the rock outside all last winter. Now the tank looks something to be proud of!
