Any idea on this spongy looking thing?

This has been growing slowly in tank. At one point the rock had small feather dusters, but those vanished and now this is showing

Thanks funny how they just appear.. had that rock for a good 6 years. Then 6 months ago dusters show up and then a this started after dusters vanished.

Funny enough no new fish etc in a couple years.. same 2 clowns, tangs and engineer goby for past 5 years lol

As Tinman said, yellow sponge. Totally great for your tank, congrats. If you are lucky, they will start popping up all over your tank.

Yeah look under over hangs and in small nooks and holes with a healthy system you'll start seeing alot
