Anybody know about clowns spawning behavior?

The clowns we have in the bio that are for sale have really been acting even more strange the last 2 days. They keep moving sand and cleaning some rock in the back. Now when we turn the daylights off and only the actinics are on they stay in the back and just wiggle and stay together. The female seems to be getting "bigger" and they seem hungry all the time. Just wondering if anybody knows the clowns spawing behavior real well and can maybe gives us some info on wheather they might be spawing soon or they are just being clowns. Thanks
