Anyone recommend a good dosing pump?

No, I'm not a communist..
I've now gone through 2 Aqualifters as pumps for my ATO. Anyone recommend a good ATO dosing pump that isn't too expensive (but not as cheap and worthless as the Aqualifter)?

Tagging along.

Mine broke yesterday just from removing the tubing. Snap the connection where the tubing goes on.

That's what happened to my first one. It lost its seal and suction.

My present one...I took the cover off and watched them working. The two magnets are only slightly vibrating and are not creating any substantial pumping action. No water is being pumped. When they were new the magnets pumped vigorously against the internal bladder. Now they hardly move and only slightly vibrate instead of pump.

Yeah you will be pleased with it. I bought the 1.1ml pumps last week, tested them out and they work really well. I just wish the aqualifter would of broke last week.

EricTheRed,

Did you install your new pump yet and how do you like it?I just got mine today and it works great.

I got mine 2 days ago. It's working well. It's a little noisy compared to the Aqua Lifter and does vibrate a bit since i mounted it to wood, but I'll take a little noise for much better quality :)

What if you put a rubber backing to it, that might help for the vibration part. Mines in the basement so no big deal for me.

Well, I guess it's no so much vibration as it is the sound of the pump itself. It's not too bad, what's one more noise on top of the return pump & skimmer, lol!
