I am looking to get rid of my Finnex LEDs, and upgrade to a more controllable hanging fixture (or 2).
The prime looks like a top contender for the price. Anyone have experience with them, or an suggestions ?

Currently running one all blue, and one 50/50

I just installed two Radion XR15 pros today, and I love them! i was able to program them quite easily by hooking them up to my computer via a micro usb connection.

What size tank are they on?
how high above the water did you mount them?

Innovative Marine 30L. I think they are about 10 inches from the surface. They are incredible.. i have them at 50% power.

I think they are about 10 inches above the water line.

I'll post a photo.

I just set up an AI Prime last night. I had a little trouble hooking it up. I had to do a little trouble shooting which took some of the fun out of it. Some of the youtube tutorials made it look like a slam dunk- in my case, not so much. however, connecting to it thru your home wireless network and controlling with your iPhone makes it fun to use. Its really flexible, lots of options that I haven't figured out yet. And since its controlled by an app, my guess is that in a short time there will be many third party apps which will offer all kinds control options (I had a similar experience Philips Hue, controllable LEDS for home use). This is my first LED reef setup and I'm looking forward to learning more about it. You can control everything- levels of red,s violets, ultraviolet, deep blues, blues, cool white, ramp times, peaks times and the storm feature is cool) . For the $$, I think its a great option- there aren't a lot of options in this price range that have the same offerings.

I would suggest using par meter to verify enough light. After months of not seeing growth and corals losing color I broke down and bought 1. To my surprise no where near enough light. Added more lights and finally getting awesome growth and pe. Haven't even finished acclimation to full settings.
