Apogee Par Meter MQ-200

Hello everyone I recently bought an Apogee Par Meter and I am wondering if anyone knows about the reading and LEDS. I have read online that you should multiply the readings by 5. Is that true or not? Is the reading the actual par when testing LEDS? If anyone can help lead me in the right direcion that would be great. Thanks

If you use the the probe connected to a volt meter, then you multiple voltage by 5 to get PAR. If you are using the probe and apogee meter, then the value on the meter screen is PAR. You can use the rough estimate of adding 20% of the meter reading to get an estimate of the PAR for LEDs. The meter is calibrated for T5 and halide spectrum, the value on the meter is low for LEDs. Here is a chart to use, but I think it is conservative in it's values.

Awesome thanks for the reply jrpark22000. I have the actual par meter and probe from apogee so I will just add 20% values to the readings. Thank you for the clarification.
