I was playing around with extending my aquabus to my laundry room to relocate my dos pump. Well I had cat5 already ran and didn't want to try to fish a aquabus cable through the wall. So I cut a aquabus in half, soldered the ends on to the cat5 and it works perfectly! If you choose to do this, just make sure you wire you're home made extension straight through.
