I have been there. It is a beautiful and incredibly safe island. They have one of the highest literacy rates and lowest crimes rates in the Caribbean. They drive on the same side of the road as we do. The beaches are gorgeous, the scuba diving is passable, and they have a few casinos if you are looking for gambling. As John said, it can be windy, especially on the Atlantic side of the island, but that makes for very good windsurfing, if that floats your boat. I would go back there in a heartbeat.

Stay at either the Marriott Surf Club or Ocean Club, if you can.

I stayed at the Westin . I have a ton of pictures . I rank it as right behind Hawaii. The RIU is another great choice

Funny...I asked my brother to help me pick up my new 75 gal tank from Glasscages on the 13th. He said he cant because he will be in Aruba.
