How the sale works: We will have a Coral Sale, posting 50 corals every 20 mins, whoever emails us first gets it! Charity Sale rules are listed below the graphics in this post. Sale will be on Saturday 8/9/14; will start at 4pm PST (7pm EST) till it ends. We will donate 3% of the total revenue of the sale to the Coral Restoration Foundation! You get to score nice corals at a discount price, as well as help out a good cause, it’s a Win Win!

Coral Restoration Foundation
The Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF) is a nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to creating offshore nurseries and restoration programs for threatened coral species. CRF is leading the development of new nursery and restoration techniques. Tens of thousands of corals are grown and maintained in multiple offshore nurseries. After a year in the nursery, corals are outplanted to a degraded reef. With the help of students, volunteers, scientists, dive operators, public aquariums, and community groups, thousands of corals grown in CRF’s nurseries have already been outplanted on coral reefs.

RULES of ASD Charity Sale-
1. First to EMAIL can reserve the item (please, NO PMs). Please copy and paste the item number, description and pricing into an email (can be the title of the email or in the body of the email, or both). Please send email to: aquasandiego@gmail.com. We will reply to every email, letting you know if you won the piece or not, excluding “Freebies”. If you do not receive a reply for a “Freebie” email, you did not get it. Once sale is over, we will send you a breakdown of what was ordered. Payment can be through Paypal (our paypal email is aquasandiego@gmail.com), CC over the phone (our store number is 858-565-1910), or cash in person.
2. All orders will be shipped via UPS Next Day Air (by 10:30am or 12:00 depending on your location). Shipping is a flat fee of $40. It doesn’t matter if you buy 1 item, or 1000 items, shipping to one buyer is a flat rate of $40. There is no free shipping for this Charity Sale Event. Combined shipping (multiple buyers sending items together in one box) is available. Additional fee may be added, and is based on how many buyers there are, the box weight and size. Email us for inquiries: aquasandiego@gmail.com. Shipping via Fedex is available if requested, but the shipping fee for Fedex Priority Overnight is $60. We recommend to ship to your local UPS or Fedex facility for pick up so your box is not sitting in the delivery truck for hours, especially since it’s summer time. If you chose to pick up at a UPS or Fedex facility, you can pick up as soon as they open.
3. All orders are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. No credits, gift certificates, coupons, discounts will apply for this Charity Sale.
4. In the unlikely event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), we will need a clear digital picture within 2 hours of delivery. Once we receive the photo/s via email, we will replace the DOA coral with the same coral (or similar value if exact one is not available) in your next order. Buyer is responsible for shipping replacement corals. We do not give refunds, only replacements that will go in your next order.
5. If you are local here in Socal, you can pick up your Charity Sale item/s between 6p - 7p on Tuesday, Weds and Thursday. You may pick up your Charity Sale items anytime during business hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You may pay via paypal or in person. We take cash or credit card (Mastercard, Visa or Discover only). All California buyers will pay 8% sales tax. For local pickups, you will not be able to pick and choose your Charity Sale items. It will be picked and bagged by us.
6. Freebies! Freebies will be in every order. The bigger your order is the better/more freebie/s we pick for you. You cannot request what freebie/s you would like, it will be our pick. There will be WYSIWYG freebies listed throughout the sale as well. No limit to how many you can get. If you are first to email on all of them, you can get all of them, so be quick!
