ATI Dimmable

Hey guys so i'm getting ready to order my ATI light and wanted to get a few opinions. So my tank is a 65g 36L x 18W and i was thinking of going with the 36" 6 bulbs fixture which is 35"L and 13.4"W...or i could go with the 24" 8 bulb fixture which is 23.1"L and 17.5" W...i really want to go with an 8 bulb so i can have a different combination of colors for bulb choice and the 36" 8 bulb is just a little out of my price range...so what do you all think sorry for the long rant.

You can do either one ,really on your tank. Personally the 36" 6 bulbs would be my choice ( i had one), with six bulbs you can do a lot of bulb combinations , with 24 " 8 bulb fixture you will have a lot of light spill front to back, so really two outer bulbs are a waste on your tank.

ok thanks for your opinion i was thinking the 6 bulb also just cuz it might look better since it will fit the length of the tank well

if i could afford it i would go with what you have with the powermodule but i dont make that kind of coin lol

This is a no brainier... 36" 6 bulb with 2 x blue plus, 2 x coral plus and two more of your preference/choice. T5s need to run the full length of the tank.

So I was wondering now if I should spend the extra money and go with the dimmable or regular sunpower

Dimmable is the way to go imo.....i have a 36" dimmable 6 bulb and the ability to create sunrise and sunset was important to me....
just changed up my bulb combo to include 2 Blue Plus, 2 Actinic, 1 Coral Plus and 1 Aquablue Special....first impression is good but will need time for corals to adjust colors to new spectrum....
