For AUGUST POTM the theme is Nuisance, Trouble or General pain in the a$$. Let's see something from your tank that you either can't get ride of, or don't want to, that makes you want to pull your hair out every now and then. Bring on your bubble aglea, hitchikers, bleached coral, difficult fish, etc.

1. Please submit photo below.
2. Last day of entry is Aug 29th.
3. Winner will get a $25 gift cert to Premium Aquaitcs saamath

Good luck and have fun! Looking forward to all the submissions.

Check out last month's winner!

Option B - automation that is not full proof - ATO pump failed while on vacation and the sump level dropped to the point the temp sensor was measuring basement ambient air temp...and the APEX cranked the heat (both primary and secondary heater).
I got lucky in that I arrived home before the tank boiled...I walked in the door to hear the pump sucking air, added a couple gallons of (70degree) RODI and the temp then measured 87. Lost a few things from stress, but averted a full crash.

Lol, I gave up on manual removal on this tank a long time ago. I have 2 others that are doing great and are aptasia free. I now have a matted filefish in that tank. It seems to be helping slowly.
