Auto topoff water

How long can auto topoff RODI water sit in my container for without any water circulation? I've heard mixed comments about whether the water can go stale.

Thanks,

Good question. I just set-up my ATO today. I was wondering the same thing.

Mine sits in a bucket with tight lid, then inside my stand.

I have to pull the rodi unit out and hook it to my restroom or kitchen faucet so I make about 20 gallons water every two weeks.

Mix 10 gallons as salt and other 10 gallons for top off.

Now I continuously mix the salt ( not sure good or bad, read it both ways) but to water stays stagnant except for me taking out to fill the ato container

Been fine for me

Can freshwater go stale? Never heard of that. As long as you have a lid on it so nothing can fall or float in Id say it would be good for an indefinite amount of time.

Fresh water can indeed go bad .. Not sure in the timeline but I know for sure it does. Rodi water is a different story and might not go bad.
