Avast ATO

So I'm placing an order for this tomorrow. I've had almost 3/4 gallon of evaporation a day on my Nuvo 16 since I set it up. Since I'm going to be out of town for 9-10 days soon I want to get it up and going so I know it works. What pump do u guys suggest for my size tank? It will usually have a 2-3 gallon container with ro/di water, but when I leave I'm going to have a 5 gal and have someone fill it if it emptys. Also, I'm trying to hold out on anything that needs to be fed, but I did pick up a Rasta Lobo (thank Ted). Going to invest in auto feeder, but which Eheim one? I see 2 diff kinds. What's Dif?

I totally appreciate it, but I don't mind spending the $. Not too bad considering I already put a AI Sol on it. The light was more than the tank!!!! Lol but I would def stop by to check ur tank out one of these days.. If that's cool with u?

i use the tom's aqualifter pump. i believe alot of people use it. Under $15 bucks. drips nicely. i use the avast ato with tubing and a 5gallon bucket from HD for my 20long. PA, BRS, and Living Sea carry the pump.

The thing that sucks about aqualifter is that you cant adjust the flow rate. You will have to clamp the hose some how so the flow is what you want it to be. If you dont mind spending the money you might want to look at something with a variable speed motor. Though aqualiftrs do work fine if properly maintained, because crimpig the airline tube (to get the DPS you want) could theoretically clog the tube quicker than it might otherwise if left uncrimped.

Yeah I'm gonna hold off on the auto feeder right now... Also now I'm trying to decide if I should spend the money on the tunze system for an ato....

I have an Eheim feeder you can have if I can find the food holder part of it. I know where the motor part is.
