Basement owners

So my 300g arrived and the plan is to put sump in basement.
Tank comes with two 1.5" drains and two 1" returns.

Plan as follows:

Drain plan:
Run spaflex from overflow to floor. Rigid PVC from floor to sump. Drains will be separate(not Teed) to allow maximum drain capacity. All of this will be 1.5" to match bulkhead

Return plan:
Use an external pump(haven't decided which one yet), followed by a union(for quick disconnects), and a ball valve to adjust flow if needed. PVC from external-pump to floor. Spa flex from floor to TEE. From TEE to overflows. All of this will be 1" to match bulkhead returns.

Vertical height is about 12ft. from sump to top of tank. I'm going to get a larger pump to factor in elbows/fittings.

Any issues/concerns/recommendations?

Will the main pump be at the same level of the tank and sump? Meaning zero head height.

I like the Reeflo hammerhead but I would not want the pump in the same room as the tank, too noisy. Will you have the sump and pump behind a wall? If so the Reeflo is the way to go.
