IDK if there's "best" route; I think it'll be more personal preference. AquaPros sells RODI equipment; Bulk Reef Supply is another great choice. I've also used Air, Water, Ice and Buckeye Hydro. Never tried Spectrapure but I've read good things.

I recently purchased a new DOW Filmtec 75 GPD membrane off of Amazon. I found them to be cheaper than Bulk Reef Supply. If you go with name brand membranes & filters, that is the best route.

You can check out Bulk Reef Supply to see what they use/recommend in their filters.

I am using Spectrapure now. I purchased it last year as a refurb unit. 90GPD 4 stage. Work great. I also have a TDS meter. For the last year since I have been making RODI water I get 0 TDS
I have had it go up to like 5 and I replaced my filter and it went back down to 0. I would try the BRS RODI unit but mine is still working.
