Best Tang ???

Thanks guys, I was thinking either Kole or Powder Blue Tang would be the best for me. My one concern would be size of my tank 48x32x19 ,would this be big enough for him. Powder blue would be the only big fish among small gobies and cardinals. Tank will be up soon.

I just learned some awesome info the other day thanks to Julian Sprung. The powder brown tang is an amazing grazer...even eats bubble algae! I added one last week to my personal tank. He grazes more than a bristletooth and sailfin combined. Brian is even going to put some in troughs now.

I also say kole tang. I had some NASTY hair algae when I first got my LEDs and it ate it clean in three days and it never came back.

Also, as long as its not too big koles do well in 4' tanks. Mine was in a 55.

My powder blue grazes, but not a crazy amount. It is pretty aggressive, especially to new fish. He chased all of my fish for a while. Now he only chases my tusk and sometimes my naso, which is quite a bit larger than him. The naso never grazes.

I've never owned one, but I've watched a lot of Koles. It seems like they are always grazing and they have the mouth shape that makes them well-equipt to do it. Powder blues have small mouths that don't really open and conform to the rocks like a kole.

Will a Unicorn Tang be OK in my BioCube 14? He's really small. He has 1" between him and either side of the tank so he should have enough space to grow.

Just kidding...

My magnificent fox face did a great job cleaning algae and bubble algae but has slowed down because I feed my tank like 3 times a day. My coral beauty is always picking. I know there not tangs but I dont have any
